What is our Engagement Program?

Joyful activities

Enrichment meetings such as creating art projects, cooking together, listening to music or walks on the beach. Perhaps there has been a hobby you have been waiting to try, today is the day!

Support and Guidance

Engagement specialists provide a safe space. Together we can discuss where you are in your life, what your wishes are for your days ahead. Often times as we age, we feel as if we have many decision made for us. A engagement specialist is person who will listen to your voice and take note of your desires for this delicate time in your life.

Life Review and Legacy Projects

Sessions that delve into the life that has been lived and the life that yet lies ahead of us. Visits can include conversations, recorded or casual, activities such as collecting recipes, making music play lists of favorite songs, scrapbooking, and writing letters. These activities all allow the client to recall important moments and to express themselves for who they are today.

What is an Engagement Specialist?

A Engagement Specialist is a non-medical person specializing in emotional support, companionship and advocacy for clients and families.  Engagement Specialists assist clients with living their days to their fullest, developing wishes for their care as they age and participating in activities that bring joy and fulfillment. Often our clients require Nursing Care management services through a crisis but once the situation has stabilized, or a patient requires additional emotional or social support, the benefit of engagement with an Engagement Specialist is robust.
Ongoing engagement and support, often times coupled with Nurse Care management continually or as needed, creates a care package that completely enrobes a client in attention and attentiveness.

We believe there is so much life to be lived in these golden years! We are eager to be of support to clients and families so that the focus can be on what provides joy and comfort. We truly want to provide grace, care and life to you and your loved one!
